The Kingdom of Weevo, an oceanic island located in Southeast Asia, was founded 100 years ago by a French explorer driven by a consuming passion for video creation.

Upon his arrival, the island appeared uninhabited, allowing him to claim it and establish his own kingdom. However, he soon discovered he wasn’t alone: a family of bowhead whales, an Arctic species not typically found in the region, had already made the island their home.

These whales, capable of living up to 200 years, were explorers in their own right and had migrated to this warmer region.

The change in environment altered their appearance, turning their skin into a brilliant shade of violet. The explorer and the whales, sharing a mutual curiosity for the unknown, quickly became friends. To honor their friendship, the king named the island and his kingdom “Weevo,” a name that also became the nation’s symbol.

The king’s passion for video drove him to create numerous films showcasing the island's unique beauty and the majestic presence of its whales. These works, shared worldwide, attracted adventurers seeking a better life. Thanks to this wave of interest, the Kingdom of Weevo flourished, and a century later, it remains stronger than ever.

Its inhabitants, the Weevers, have become masters of video production, organized into four main guilds: directors, editors, motion designer, and visual effects (VFX) artists. Their technological expertise, combined with their dedication to hard work, has made Weevo a thriving nation.

However, their development has also sparked envy. A neighboring island, jealous of their prosperity, frequently launches attacks to seize part of Weevo’s treasure. In the face of these threats, the Weevers, united and resourceful, secretly organize their rebellion to defend their kingdom and preserve Weevo’s legacy.

Thus, the Kingdom of Weevo, forged by boldness and friendship, continues to shine through time, carried by the indomitable spirit of its citizens.
